Leveraging vast knowledge from road racing, the Aspero frame is designed with world tour stiffness for greater pedal power transfer, using less and lighter material to aid climbing and accelerating, while maximizing speeds with aerodynamic shapes critical to efficiency at speed. The Aspero lets you choose the tire that best suits the terrain so you're always in control, with clearance for 700x42c or 650Bx49 combinations. Since different outside rolling diameters of various wheel and tire combinations affect the bike handling, the fork includes a "Trail Mixer" design that adjusts trail to lessen the impact on handling when swapping between most common tire sizes.

With these unique shapes, we dial-in the ideal balance of stiffness and weight in specific areas of a frame while reducing aerodynamic drag. BBright Cervelo developed BBright to take advantage of the fact that oversized frame tubes are stiffer and lighter. With the BBright system, larger-sized tubes are used in the seat tube, down tube, and left-hand chainstay. The benefit is increased stiffness and pedaling efficiency in a lighter weight frame. When the UCI’s frame design rules changed we grasped the opportunity and pushed it to the limits. We made aerodynamic gains via a fully integrated cockpit for both mechanical and electronic builds. The S disc became a whopping 102 grams (13 watts) faster than its predecessor. With such huge gains being made at this highly competitive performance level, the S reflects our commitment to bringing tangible aero gains within reach of more riders. Aero Cable Management The Cervelo frame, fork, handlebars, and associated components are designed to hide brake and shift control lines (mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic) from the wind for improved aerodynamics, without sacrificing usability or performance. Floating RDH Our two part floating rear derailleur hanger is designed to allow for easy alignment of the rear dropouts, ensuring that the rear axle can be installed quickly and simply every time. This design also incorporates the rear derailleur hanger and comes in different versions (threaded, RAT style) allowing you to easily update your frame and fork if standards change. Flat Out. That's how Aspero debuted under the characters of the Wednesday Night Rough Club two years ago, and that's how it's stayed. And because at Cervelo we know that flat out doesn't stay flat out for long without a little help from science, we've come back from the drawing board with a new Aspero. A faster Aspero, a lighter Aspero, and—dare we say it—an even better-looking Aspero. Our engineers like to say, "If it looks fast, it probably is"—but there's some truth to it, and Aspero-5 looks fast standing still. No cables in the wind, tubes derived from our library of aerodynamically proven shapes, and just a hint of a cut out in the seat tube to squeak out just a bit more tire clearance, add up to a bike that proves the adage. Lightweight Speed Some might say aero doesn't matter on a gravel bike, but if you've battled a headwind across an open prairie, the thirty-two grams of drag you'll save with the Aspero-5 come as a welcome respite. Most gravel racing is done without the benefit of a World Tour peloton—or World Tour tactics—and when it's your nose in the wind all day, it's nice to know your bike's shouldering a bit of the load. Two-Position Adjustment "Trail", or front wheel response to rider input, is the most critical factor in high-velocity handling. The ability to adjust trail with the two-position "Trail Mixer" to compensate for the extreme range of tire sizes ensures a uniform ride experience. Multiple Configurations We engineered the bike to fit most 700x42 or 650x49 tire/wheel combos, comfortably. Of course, there are variables—rim width, tire casing/tread depth—which will affect final clearance. IMPORTANT NOTE: We always recommend there to be 4mm of clearance around whichever tire/wheel combo is installed on the bike.

The Caledonia-5 was inspired by our own out-the-front-door rides and built for the way we ride bikes. You could call it an "all road" or "endurance" bike, but when it comes right down to it, the Caledonia is the bike we keep reaching for when we know the odometer’s going well past the triple-digit mark. Long rides invariably have some smooth tarmac, some junk pavement over backroads, a cutty singletrack connector, and maybe even your own local Strade Bianche sector. So we built a bike that could take on all of them, do it well, and fit fenders in case the ominous clouds turn into a downpour 130km into your day. We don’t see road bikes as fragile machines meant only for putting watts into and receiving speed from. They’re an extension of our soul, of the way we want to see our worlds, and the lives we want to live. Sometimes that means cutting across park grass, and sometimes it’s seeing where that dirt road off to the left leads you. The Caledonia-5 is a bike for the modern road rider. Performance Fit The Caledonia’s integrated stem and two bearing cap options allow for stacks ranging between an aggressive 7mm and a relaxed 22mm without the use of spacers. With a wider fit coordinate range (stack) of 580mm to 687mm, the Caledonia can be as low as a slammed R3 or taller than our tallest C3. All while looking and being seamlessly fast in the wind. Integrated Accessory Mounts Integrated mounts enable the use of fenders, lights, and computers without compromising the aerodynamics or structure of your bike. The built-in mount systems provide a simple and clean-looking solution in a lighter weight frame.
